My Golden Globe fashion awards

I love awards shows. So in honor of last night's Golden Globes, Everyday Adventures is handing out it's own fashion awards. Check out my picks and let me know if you have other celebs to nominate for an award or who you thought was the best/worst dressed from last night.

Beware, there are a ton of photos, but the humorous awards are reason enough to scroll all the way through.

Best Dressed Man (on left) - I love you! I love you! I love you!

Best Head-to-Toe Look (flawless!)

Most Tragic Loss of  a Cheetah - not awful, but not her best

Best Addams Family revival - this is just so tragic, there are no words

Best Cotton Candy Fantasy - love it though, seriously

Best Wrapped in Tin Foil Look - we get it, you lost the baby weight

Best Uni-Boob - my chest hurts looking at it

Best Tumor of Fabric (look at that growth! Fab necklace)

Best Bosoms - they are taped in and looking good

Best Bird's Nest Revival - with black roots? Is this Melrose Place 1995?

Worst Posture - shoulders back young lady!

Best Birthing Hips - those kids will walk out!

Did I forget anyone? I could have included a ton more but had to restrain myself.

  1. Hahah I completely agree with ALL of these- most importantly the beauty that is Jim Halpert & the painful, painful looking uniboob Hayden's sporting.
I like your recap much, muuuch better than all those other lame Best/Worst dressed ones =)

  3. ugh blake lively's posture was killing me when she was presenting...

  4. Believe it or not Maggie was the top pick on our morning show here in australia for best "on trend". Cameron Diaz in pink too but apparently the hosts loved the Cheetah thing.

  5. I love Kate Winslet. She's a class act every time.

  6. Too funny. I thought Kate Winslet was stunning.

  7. dude blake could have looked so much hotter! she's gorgeous!

  8. YES! I thought Blake looked great, but her posture was so bad. It really annoyed me when she was presenting the award. And I love Kate Winslet. She was amazing.

  9. Serena's dress was too tight- girl is GORGEOUS but it did nothing for her figure...

  10. OMG, I am cracking up at your comments, but I am loving it. You are so correct in all of your opinions.

    Renee=Hot mess
    Drew= Drugged out prom queen

  11. LOL, this is hysterical. Renee Zellweger - what a disappointment! Did she not look in the mirror before leaving her house?! She needs to fire her stylist!

  12. Best birthing hips hahahaha what a great comment!

  13. Jlo looked really bad. Kate Winslet really did look the best. I was so happy for her wins.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Also: Cameron Diaz looked pretty bad. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Miley Cyrus looked cute, if a tad trying to hard to look mature. Mary Louise Parker looked great--love her dress!

  15. Hahaha, this is great. I love Kate Winslets ensemble. And Eva Mendes necklace -- LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I am not a fan of Jennifer Lopez or her dress.

  18. I love award shows because of this - all the beautiful dresses and gorgeous ladies and gentlemen!!!

    Love this post:)

  19. I still find Kate Winslet's eyebrows too dark for her light fake blonde hair..

But the outfits were interesting to say the least!

Eva (?) would have been my favourite for the entire thing in that red stunner.

    Fabulously Broke in the City
Just a girl trying to find a balance between being a Shopaholic and a Saver...

  20. I think Kate Winslet's dress is a bit dull. She is pretty though. Also, there is so nothing wrong with Beyonce showing off her hips. Real women have curves and she rocks them.

  21. Thank you for posting this! I've been wanting to see what Rene's dress looked like and.... wow.

    Shocking.

    Great awards! Thanks!

also, i love kate - love. but j-lo what the hell was she thinking!

  24. Kate Winslet was absolutely flawless and perfect for the evening! Her wins were SO exciting.

    And John? Swoon!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Gah! that really IS a tumor of fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Debra Messing, with the hair and the eye makeup. Debra, sometimes, less is more.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh Jim. You are so hot.

Some of those dresses are great. Others are just atrocious!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh gosh, Renee Z. always looks so good at these things, too :-( Sad. That dress would have been amazing if it didn't have the random nude cut-out.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh my gosh, I'd spit on a baby for Eva Longoria's body. She looks amazing! Well, maybe not actually spit on one cause that would be mean but I'd really like Eva's figure.

  30. I think I am the only person on the planet who like Drew's outfit. I thought she looked like a fairy princess. :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think Beyonce's look is my favorite...probably because I have such low expectations for her.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Kate Winslet can do no wrong in my eyes. And loved the black dress she wore.

    LOL at the Beyonce comment.

    ReplyDelete
  33. LOL - your descriptions are the best - especially Drew's and Beyonce's!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I didn't watch the Golden Globes, but now I feel like I did. Loved your awards!

    ReplyDelete
  35. kate was by far one of the best of the night, love her. and blake's dress was so unflattering on her, or perhaps it really was just her awful posture, yikes.

    ReplyDelete
  36. lol loveeedddd your awards! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Given I missed the GG's, this was a great recap. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ummm.. I thought I was the only one who loved Jim from the office!
    He is adorable!
Great post! I agree - Kate Winslet looked fab-

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh my god I agree 100% with your categories. You had me laughing. :)

And seriously - what was up with Drew Barrymore's hair?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Don't you just wish you had a reason to wear one of these in your own life though? I have a silver crushed velvet floor-length number that I've been hanging onto since college JUST IN CASE. Oddly, its still stylish.

  41. Me + John Krasinski = true love forever. And lots of babies. For real.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Agree 100 percent on Kate Winslet. She's my hero. As for Drew Barrymore, while she is traditionally one of my hollywood favorites, I'm concerned that something (i.e. insects) got lost/made a home in her hair and she had no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wow, spot on. I was with you from the moment I saw John Krasinski, but the tumor fabric and bird's nest KILLED ME.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Agreed!

Renee could not have been any more tragic, Kate Winslet couldn't have been more polished and Blake Lively couldn't have been more I'm sooo over this, when can we all go get wasted?
